QUT's Faculty of Education is a dynamic place for people pursuing a career in education, and for educators seeking to advance their qualifications. The Faculty is composed of more than 130 academic staff, many of them real-world professionals committed to fostering learning for students of all ages, and ensuring course content is contemporary and relevant.

Our students number more than 5500 making us one of the largest education faculties in Australia. While many students join us to become teachers, we also offer a course in Adult and Community Learning for people seeking to qualify or build on their experience as trainers or educators in commercial and community settings.

Whichever degree you choose the strong, practical theme of all our courses and diverse range of subject offerings means that you are not limited by the employment opportunities provided by classroom teaching alone.

If you already have a degree which you would like to use as a springboard to a teaching career you can pursue the Graduate Diploma in Education. Our graduates are highly employable throughout Australia and the world because our courses meet national and international standards.
