The Faculty of Education is an acknowledged international leader in professional development and training. We provide tailor-made programs at any level for delivery in Australia or overseas. We offer degree level programs and professional development courses for government and corporate clients, designed to enhance the skills of key personnel within a range of organisations.

We have over ten years experience in delivering degree-based programs for international clients such as the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. We also have developed an excellent series of tailor-made training courses for clients such as the Hong Kong universities and government, Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau and the Jiangsu Education Department, in such areas as TESOL, leadership and maths, science and technology.

Locally, the Faculty provides a wide range of training workshops for the education profession, tapping into our research culture to deliver courses that share relevant and up-to-date knowledge in areas such as TESOL, bullying, ICT integration into the classroom, curriculum design for gifted and talented children, mentoring of new teachers, ethicsl programs for students and teaching children with disabilities.

While our expertise has always been in great demand within the education profession, we also have the capability to apply generic training skills to a more diverse group of stakeholders, outside of our traditional market.  Professional development programs in areas such as adult learning and knowledge management, leadership, and cultural competencies have great relevance to government departments and the corporate sector.

Our strength is in providing programs that are designed to meet a variety of needs and have relevance to day-to-day work. We have specialist lecturers available to present courses of varying lengths, in-house, on campus or via on-line teaching.
